أدانت الأمانة العامة لجامعة الدول العربية بأشد العبارات الاعتداءات والهجمات الإيرانية على كل من قطر والبحرين والكويت والامارات والأردن، معتبرة أن الاعتداءات بالصواريخ تمثل انتهاكاً صارخاً لسيادة دول تنادي بالسلام وعملت من أجل تحقيق الاستقرار ولم تشارك في الحرب.

وأعربت الأمانة العامة عن التضامن الكامل مع الدول العربية في مواجهة تلك الاعتداءات، وتأييدها لأية إجراءات تتخذها من أجل الدفاع عن نفسها وتأمين شعوبها.

وشددت الأمانة العامة على أن الدول العربية اتخذت مواقف واضحة من الأزمة الإيرانية برفض العمل العسكري ضد طهران، وبذلت دول عربية جهوداً هائلة من أجل الوساطة تجنباً للتصعيد الذي نشهده اليوم.

وتحسبت الأمانة العامة من الخطورة الهائلة التي ينطوي عليها الموقف الحالي في المنطقة، مناشدة كافة الأطراف الفاعلة في المجتمع الدولي العمل من أجل خفض التصعيد في أسرع وقت، وتجنيب المنطقة ويلات اتساع دائرة عدم الاستقرار والعنف، والعودة إلى الحوار.

The General Secretariat of the Arab League condemned in the strongest terms the Iranian attacks and assaults on Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, the UAE, and Jordan, considering that the missile attacks represent a blatant violation of the sovereignty of countries that advocate for peace and have worked towards achieving stability and have not participated in the war.

The General Secretariat expressed full solidarity with the Arab countries in facing these assaults, and its support for any measures they take to defend themselves and secure their peoples.

The General Secretariat emphasized that the Arab countries have taken clear positions on the Iranian crisis by rejecting military action against Tehran, and that Arab countries have made tremendous efforts for mediation to avoid the escalation we are witnessing today.

The General Secretariat warned of the immense danger posed by the current situation in the region, urging all active parties in the international community to work towards de-escalation as soon as possible, to spare the region the woes of expanding instability and violence, and to return to dialogue.
