الفنان الكبير الفنان القدير محمد عبده أعرف تماماً مكانة وحجم وقيمة غلاوة والدته «يرحمها الله» عنده، وكم كان هو «رضي» فيها، ومن الممكن القول إنه يعد «مضرب مثل» يقتدى به، وسيرة ابن تكتب لوحدها من ذهب، وهذه واحدة من أهم صفات «أبو نورة» وأبرز أسباب «التوفيق» الذي لازمه وحالفه في حياته الشخصية والعملية ومسيرته الفنية.

– من منطلق هذه «الحقيقة» حول هذه المنزلة الكبيرة التي يكنّها الفنان محمد عبده لأمه، فإنني أدعوه وأقول له «يرحم أمك» اعتزال الغناء فوراً، ولا تتردد في اتخاذ هذا القرار لحظة واحدة.

– ولو كانت والدتك موجودة بيننا وعلى قيد الحياة لطلبت منك نفس طلبي وذلك حفاظاً على ما تبقى من صحتك وأنت الذي أعياك المرض ولم تعد قادراً على السهر.

– أعلم محبة وقدر محبيك والمعجبين بصوتك والمتشوقين دوماً لسماعه وجمال أغانيك، ولكن تقديراً لتاريخك ومكانتك وقيمتك الفنية وحفاظاً أولاً وأخيراً على صحتك الغالية أرجوك اسمع نصيحتي، وهي نصيحة ليس لها علاقة بطلاليتي المطلقة إنما أطلقتها لفنان لا أنكر محبتي الشخصية له وإعجابي الشديد بصوته وذكائه الشديد وتاريخه المجيد بما حققه من نجاحات وإنجازات لنفسه ووطنه وشهدها جمهوره في العالم أجمع.

– كان من واجبي أن أسدي له هذه النصيحة وحذارِ ممن يطالبونك بالاستمرار، فقد حان وقت الرحيل «أبو نورة»، فهناك من يخافون عليك وعلى صحتك ويستمتعون بوجودك بينهم أكثر وأنت تعرف ماذا أعني، مع دعائي لك أن يطيل الله في عمرك وأنت في تمام الصحة والعافية.

The great artist, the esteemed Mohamed Abdu, I fully understand the status, size, and value of his mother’s love for him, may she rest in peace, and how much he was “pleased” with her. It can be said that he is a “role model” to be emulated, and the story of his life is one that could be written in gold. This is one of the most important qualities of “Abu Noura” and one of the main reasons for the “success” that has accompanied him throughout his personal and professional life and artistic career.

– Based on this “truth” regarding the great place that artist Mohamed Abdu holds for his mother, I invite him and say, “May your mother rest in peace,” to retire from singing immediately, and do not hesitate for a moment to make this decision.

– If your mother were here with us and alive, she would ask you the same thing, in order to preserve what remains of your health, as you have been worn out by illness and can no longer stay up late.

– I know the love and appreciation of your fans and admirers for your voice and their constant eagerness to hear it and the beauty of your songs. However, out of respect for your history, status, and artistic value, and to preserve, first and foremost, your precious health, I implore you to heed my advice. This advice is not related to my absolute admiration for you, but rather it comes from a personal love and deep admiration for your voice, your sharp intelligence, and your glorious history marked by the successes and achievements you have accomplished for yourself and your country, which your audience has witnessed worldwide.

– It was my duty to offer you this advice, and beware of those who urge you to continue. The time has come to say goodbye, “Abu Noura.” There are those who care for you and your health and enjoy your presence among them more than you know what I mean. I pray that God grants you a long life in perfect health and well-being.
