ترمب يلوّح بالتصعيد: «يوم سيئ للغاية» ينتظر إيران إذا فشل الاتفاق النووي – أخبار السعودية
حذّر الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، الاثنين، من أن إيران ستواجه «يوماً سيئاً للغاية» في حال عدم التوصل إلى اتفاق مع الولايات المتحدة بشأن برنامجها النووي، مؤكداً أن البديل عن التفاهم الدبلوماسي سيكون قاسياً.
وفي منشور عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، شدد ترمب على أنه يفضّل الحل التفاوضي، لكنه أوضح أن فشل المحادثات «سيجعل ذلك يوماً عصيباً على ذلك البلد، وللأسف الشديد على شعبه»، في إشارة مباشرة إلى إيران.
ونفى ترمب وجود أي خلاف بينه وبين رئيس هيئة الأركان الأمريكية، الجنرال دانيال كين، بشأن كيفية التعامل مع طهران، واصفاً التقارير التي تحدثت عن اعتراض عسكري على أي مواجهة محتملة بأنها «أخبار مضللة».
وأضاف أن كين، شأنه شأن بقية القادة العسكريين، لا يسعى إلى الحرب، لكنه «يعرف كيف ينتصر إذا طُلب منه ذلك»، مشيداً بخبرته واطلاعه على الملف الإيراني.
وأكد ترمب أنه صاحب القرار النهائي في أي تحرك عسكري محتمل، مكرراً تفضيله المسار الدبلوماسي، لكنه حذر من أن الرد سيكون «قاسياً» إذا لم يتم التوصل إلى اتفاق.
وتأتي هذه التصريحات في ظل تصاعد التوتر بين واشنطن وطهران على خلفية البرنامج النووي الإيراني، وسط تحذيرات متزايدة من انهيار مسار التفاهمات الدبلوماسية.
U.S. President Donald Trump warned on Monday that Iran will face a “very bad day” if no agreement is reached with the United States regarding its nuclear program, emphasizing that the alternative to diplomatic understanding would be harsh.
In a post on social media, Trump stressed that he prefers a negotiated solution, but clarified that the failure of talks “will make it a tough day for that country, and unfortunately for its people,” referring directly to Iran.
Trump denied any disagreement between him and U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman General Daniel Keen regarding how to deal with Tehran, describing reports of military objections to any potential confrontation as “misleading news.”
He added that Keen, like other military leaders, does not seek war, but “knows how to win if called upon,” praising his experience and knowledge of the Iranian file.
Trump confirmed that he is the final decision-maker in any potential military action, reiterating his preference for the diplomatic path, but warned that the response would be “harsh” if an agreement is not reached.
These statements come amid rising tensions between Washington and Tehran over the Iranian nuclear program, with increasing warnings of the collapse of diplomatic understandings.
