اكتشاف مقابر صخرية من عصر الدولة القديمة جنوبي مصر – أخبار السعودية
أعلنت وزارة السياحة والآثار المصرية، اليوم، اكتشاف مجموعة من المقابر الصخرية التي تعود إلى عصر الدولة القديمة (2181 – 2686) قبل الميلاد، في منطقة «قبة الهواء» بمحافظة أسوان جنوبي مصر.
وأوضحت الوزارة، أن هذا الكشف، الذي يعود لبعثة أثرية مصرية، تضمن آبارا وغرفا للدفن، لافتة إلى أن المقابر المكتشفة أعيد استخدامها خلال عصر الانتقال الأول والدولة الوسطى، الأمر الذي يشير إلى أهمية الموقع عبر العصور المختلفة.
وأشار البيان إلى أنه تم الكشف عن غرفتي دفن بهما نحو 160 من الأواني الفخارية متنوعة الأحجام والأشكال من عصر الدولة القديمة، أغلبها في حالة جيدة من الحفظ وعليها كتابات باللغة الهيراطيقية، حيث تشير الدراسات الأولية إلى أنها كانت تستخدم لتخزين السوائل والحبوب.
كما عثر أيضا في الفناء الخارجي للمقابر على مجموعة من الحلي تشمل مرايا من البرونز ومكاحل من الألبستر، إلى جانب عقود من الخرز بمختلف الألوان والأشكال، والتمائم المتنوعة التي تعود إلى عصر الدولة الوسطى.
يشار إلى أن موقع قبة الهواء في أسوان يحتوي على مجموعة من المقابر التي تعود إلى حقب زمنية مختلفة منذ بداية الدولة القديمة وحتى العصر اليوناني الروماني.
The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced today the discovery of a group of rock-cut tombs dating back to the Old Kingdom period (2181 – 2686 BC) in the “Qubat al-Hawa” area of Aswan, southern Egypt.
The ministry explained that this discovery, which is attributed to an Egyptian archaeological mission, included shafts and burial chambers, noting that the discovered tombs were reused during the First Intermediate Period and the Middle Kingdom, indicating the site’s significance across different eras.
The statement indicated that two burial chambers were uncovered containing about 160 pottery vessels of various sizes and shapes from the Old Kingdom, most of which are in good condition and bear inscriptions in hieratic script, with preliminary studies suggesting they were used for storing liquids and grains.
Additionally, a collection of jewelry was found in the outer courtyard of the tombs, including bronze mirrors, alabaster kohl containers, as well as necklaces made of beads in various colors and shapes, and various amulets dating back to the Middle Kingdom.
It is worth noting that the Qubat al-Hawa site in Aswan contains a collection of tombs that date back to different historical periods, from the beginning of the Old Kingdom to the Greco-Roman era.
