احتفلت المملكة العربية السعودية اليوم (الأحد) بالذكرى 299 لتأسيس الدولة وسط فرحة كبيرة من المواطنين الذين استلهموا اليوم دروس التأسيس والتاريخ المجيد للوطن الشامخ.

في مثل هذا اليوم قبل 299 عاماً تأسست الدولة السعودية الأولى التي أرست دعائم الوحدة والأمن في الجزيرة العربية بعد قرون من التشتت والفرقة وعدم الاستقرار.

لقد صمدت الدولة الفتية بعاصمتها الدرعية ضد محاولات القضاء عليها، ثم تأسست الدولة السعودية الثانية ثم أكملت البنيان في الدولة الثالثة (المملكة العربية السعودية).

واعتزازاً بالجذور الراسخة للدولة المباركة، وارتباط مواطنيها الوثيق بقادتها ورموزها التاريخية، أصدر خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز في الـ27 من يناير 2022 أمراً ملكياً بأن يكون يوم 22 فبراير من كل عام يوماً لذكرى تأسيس الدولة السعودية تعبيراً عن الاعتزاز بالعمق التاريخي للدولة ونهجها الراسخ منذ نحو قرون، وبما أرساه قادتها ومواطنوها من ركائز العدل والتلاحم والبناء ماضياً وحاضراً؛ ليكون الوطن قائداً ورائداً بين الأمم في كافة المجالات والميادين بقيادة حكيمة من خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، ورؤية طموحة عزز ملامحها ومفاهيمها ولي العهد الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، لإعادة بناء هوية وطنية راسخة ومتجددة بتحسين وتبديل البيئة والواقع الاجتماعي والاقتصادي ببناء مثمر وناتج مختلف مع هوية سعودية تعزز الشعور بالرضا والارتباط والمسؤولية والتعايش والإبداع والتجديد بين أنماط الإنتاج والتنمية.

لقد شكلت قيم العطاء والتراحم الراسخة في المجتمع السعودي محفزاً للتحولات الكبرى استلهاماً من صمود الأجداد الذين أسسوا مسارات البناء، وأرسوا ركائز المجد والإرادة التي أثمرت بعد 3 قرون من الإرادة والثبات وطناً عزيزاً أضحى اليوم مثلاً يُقتدى به في الاستقرار والرخاء والصلابة في مواجهة التحديات مع المضي بلا تردد في أداء دوره المحوري في القيادة والريادة والنماء.

وتأتي احتفالات المواطنين اليوم بالذكرى الغالية تجسيداً لما ظلت عليه الدولة من تلاحم ونماء واستقرار.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia celebrated today (Sunday) the 299th anniversary of the founding of the state amidst great joy from the citizens who drew inspiration from the lessons of foundation and the glorious history of the proud homeland.

On this day, 299 years ago, the first Saudi state was established, laying the foundations of unity and security in the Arabian Peninsula after centuries of dispersion, division, and instability.

The young state, with its capital in Diriyah, stood firm against attempts to eliminate it, followed by the establishment of the second Saudi state, and then the third state (the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) completed the structure.

In pride of the deep-rooted origins of the blessed state and the close connection of its citizens with their leaders and historical symbols, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, issued a royal decree on January 27, 2022, declaring that February 22 of each year would be a day to commemorate the founding of the Saudi state, expressing pride in the historical depth of the state and its steadfast approach for nearly centuries, and in what its leaders and citizens have established of the pillars of justice, cohesion, and construction in the past and present; to make the homeland a leader and pioneer among nations in all fields and domains under the wise leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and an ambitious vision shaped by the features and concepts of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, to rebuild a solid and renewed national identity by improving and transforming the social and economic environment and reality through fruitful construction and diverse outcomes with a Saudi identity that enhances the feeling of satisfaction, connection, responsibility, coexistence, creativity, and renewal among patterns of production and development.

The values of giving and compassion, deeply rooted in Saudi society, have formed a catalyst for major transformations, inspired by the resilience of the ancestors who established paths of construction and laid the foundations of glory and will, which bore fruit after three centuries of determination and steadfastness, resulting in a cherished homeland that has become a model to be emulated in stability, prosperity, and resilience in facing challenges while moving forward without hesitation in fulfilling its pivotal role in leadership, pioneering, and growth.

The celebrations of the citizens today for this precious anniversary embody what the state has maintained in terms of cohesion, growth, and stability.
