انضمت المملكة العربية السعودية رسميًا إلى الشراكة العالمية للذكاء الاصطناعي (GPAI)، في خطوة إستراتيجية تعزز مكانتها العالمية وتؤكد التزامها بالمسؤولية الدولية في توجيه مستقبل التقنيات الذكية.

وقال رئيس الهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي (سدايا) عبدالله الغامدي، خلال رئاسته وفد المملكة في مؤتمر تأثير الذكاء الاصطناعي 2026 بالهند، إن المملكة أصبحت أول دولة عربية ضمن هذا التجمع الدولي، الذي يعمل تحت مظلة منظمة التعاون الاقتصادي والتنمية (OECD).

وأضاف الغامدي أن المملكة تحتل المرتبة الثالثة عالميًا من حيث حجم المساهمات في مرصد الذكاء الاصطناعي التابع للمنظمة، بعد أن ساهمت بأكثر من 60 سياسة لتعزيز الشفافية وتبادل المعرفة ودعم حوكمة الذكاء الاصطناعي.

وأوضح أن السعودية تعمل على توسيع نطاق مرصد حوادث الذكاء الاصطناعي ليشمل منطقة الشرق الأوسط، ما يسهم في فهم المخاطر الإقليمية ودعم وضع سياسات قائمة على الأدلة والمعايير الدولية.

وأكّد الغامدي أن هذه الشراكة ستعزز ريادة المملكة الإقليمية في الذكاء الاصطناعي المسؤول، مشيرًا إلى مبادرات نوعية مثل ميثاق الرياض للذكاء الاصطناعي، الذي اعتمدته 53 دولة إسلامية لتطبيق المبادئ الأخلاقية وتشجيع الاستخدام المسؤول للتقنيات الحديثة بما يخدم الإنسان والمجتمع.

السعودية اليوم تضع نفسها على خارطة العالم كقوة فاعلة في الذكاء الاصطناعي، ليس فقط من خلال البنية التحتية والتقنيات، بل عبر السياسات العالمية والشراكات الدولية، ما يجعلها نموذجًا يُحتذى به في الابتكار المسؤول.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has officially joined the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI), in a strategic move that enhances its global standing and reaffirms its commitment to international responsibility in guiding the future of smart technologies.

During his presidency of the Kingdom’s delegation at the AI Impact Conference 2026 in India, the head of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, stated that the Kingdom has become the first Arab country to join this international coalition, which operates under the umbrella of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

Al-Ghamdi added that the Kingdom ranks third globally in terms of contributions to the AI Observatory of the organization, having contributed over 60 policies to enhance transparency, knowledge sharing, and support for AI governance.

He explained that Saudi Arabia is working to expand the scope of the AI Incident Observatory to include the Middle East, which contributes to understanding regional risks and supports the establishment of evidence-based policies and international standards.

Al-Ghamdi emphasized that this partnership will enhance the Kingdom’s regional leadership in responsible artificial intelligence, pointing to qualitative initiatives such as the Riyadh Charter on Artificial Intelligence, which has been adopted by 53 Islamic countries to implement ethical principles and encourage the responsible use of modern technologies for the benefit of humanity and society.

Today, Saudi Arabia positions itself on the world map as an active force in artificial intelligence, not only through infrastructure and technologies but also through global policies and international partnerships, making it a model to be emulated in responsible innovation.
