أخبار لايت: الألماني «فيرلاين» يحصد لقب الجولة الرابعة من بطولة العالم «إي بي بي للفورمولا إي» بجدة – أخبار السعودية

انطلقت اليوم (الجمعة) منافسات الجولة الرابعة من بطولة العالم «إي بي بي فورمولا إي» على حلبة كورنيش جدة، التي تستضيفها المملكة للمرة الثامنة على التوالي، وتستمر حتى يوم غدٍ (السبت) بإقامة منافسات الجولة الخامسة، وذلك بتنظيم من الاتحاد السعودي للسيارات والدراجات النارية، وإشراف وزارة الرياضة.

وتوّج نائب وزير الرياضة بدر بن عبدالرحمن القاضي الألماني باسكال فيرلاين سائق فريق بورشه بالمركز الأول في الجولة الرابعة من بطولة العالم «إي بي بي للفورمولا إي»، فيما قلّد رئيس مجلس إدارة الاتحاد السعودي للسيارات والدراجات النارية وشركة المحركات السعودية الأمير خالد بن سلطان العبدالله الفيصل السويسري إدواردو مورتارا سائق فريق ماهيندرا بالمركز الثاني، ونال النيوزيلندي ميتش إيفانز سائق فريق جاكوار تي سي إس ريسينغ المرتبة الثالثة، فيما حصد فريق بورشه المرتبة الأولى في الفرق.

وشهدت المواجهات التأهيلية التي أقيمت عصر اليوم تفوّق السويسري إدراردو مورتار سائق فريق ماهيندرا ريسينغ، تلاه الألماني ماكسيميليان غونتر سائق فريق دي إس بينسكي في المركز الثاني، فيما أكمل الألماني باسكال فيرلاين سائق فريق بورشه عقد المراكز الأولى بحلوله ثالثاً.

وتستكمل يوم غدٍ السبت 14 فبراير 2026 بإقامة الجولة الخامسة من سباق بطولة العالم «إي بي بي للفورمولا إي»، إذ ستنطلق التجارب الحرة في تمام الواحدة والنصف مساءً، تليها التصفيات عند الثالثة وأربعين دقيقة مساءً، على أن يبدأ سباق الجولة الخامسة عند الثامنة وخمس دقائق مساءً.


يذكر أن تنظيم جولتي موسم فورمولا إي يرسّخ مفاهيم الاستدامة والاعتماد على الطاقة النظيفة، كونها من أبرز البطولات العالمية التي تقوم على تقنيات كهربائية صديقة للبيئة، كما يعكس هذا الحدث حرص وزارة الرياضة على دعم الفعاليات الرياضية التي تتوافق مع مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030، عبر تعزيز الرياضات المستدامة، وترسيخ مكانة المملكة كمحطة رئيسية لاستضافة أبرز البطولات الدولية.

Today (Friday), the fourth round of the world championship “ABB Formula E” kicked off at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, which is being hosted by the Kingdom for the eighth consecutive time, and will continue until tomorrow (Saturday) with the fifth round of competitions, organized by the Saudi Arabian Motor Federation and supervised by the Ministry of Sports.

Deputy Minister of Sports, Badr bin Abdulrahman Al-Qadi, awarded the German Pascal Wehrlein, driver of the Porsche team, first place in the fourth round of the “ABB Formula E” world championship, while the Chairman of the Board of the Saudi Arabian Motor Federation and the Saudi Motors Company, Prince Khalid bin Sultan Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, presented the Swiss Eduardo Mortara, driver of the Mahindra team, with the second place award, and New Zealander Mitch Evans, driver of the Jaguar TCS Racing team, secured third place, while the Porsche team topped the team standings.

The qualifying sessions held this afternoon saw the Swiss Eduardo Mortara, driver of the Mahindra Racing team, excel, followed by the German Maximilian Günther, driver of the DS Penske team, in second place, while the German Pascal Wehrlein, driver of the Porsche team, completed the top three by finishing third.

The fifth round of the “ABB Formula E” world championship will continue tomorrow, Saturday, February 14, 2026, with free practice starting at 1:30 PM, followed by qualifying at 3:40 PM, and the fifth round race will commence at 8:05 PM.

It is worth noting that organizing the two rounds of the Formula E season reinforces the concepts of sustainability and reliance on clean energy, as it is one of the most prominent global championships based on environmentally friendly electric technologies. This event also reflects the Ministry of Sports’ commitment to supporting sporting events that align with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, by promoting sustainable sports and establishing the Kingdom as a key destination for hosting major international championships.
