بعد دقائق من دخول قرار الحظر على الموانئ الإيرانية حيز التنفيذ، هدد الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب اليوم (الإثنين) بالقضاء الفوري والوحشي على القوارب الهجومية الإيرانية كما عمل مع سفن المخدرات.

وكتب ترمب على منصته تروث سوشيال: «البحرية الإيرانية ترقد في قاع البحر، وهي مدمرة بالكامل ـ 158 سفينة»، مضيفاً: «إذا اقتربت أي من هذه السفن الهجومية الصغيرة من حصارنا، فسيتم القضاء عليها على الفور، باستخدام نفس نظام القتل الذي نستخدمه ضد تجار المخدرات على متن القوارب في البحر، إنه سريع ووحشي».

ورأت وكالة «بلومبرغ» أن الحصار الذي يفرضه ترمب على الموانئ الإيرانية قد يوقف التدفقات المتبقية ويهدّد اقتصادات تتجاوز بكثير منطقة الشرق الأوسط، كما من المرجّح أيضاً أن يقضي على وقف إطلاق النار الهشّ الذي تم الاتفاق عليه الأسبوع الماضي.

وأكد رئيس الوزراء الباكستاني شهباز شريف اليوم استمرار الجهود الحثيثة لحل الصراع بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران، وذلك بعد يوم من انتهاء محادثات استضافتها إسلام آباد بين الجانبين دون التوصل إلى اتفاق.

وقال شريف خلال اجتماع لمجلس الوزراء: «لا يزال وقف إطلاق النار صامداً، وفي هذه اللحظة تُبذل جهود مكثفة لحل القضايا العالقة».

ونقل موقع «أكسيوس» الأمريكي عن مصدر إقليمي ومسؤول أمريكي قولهما إن أنقرة ستواصل إلى جانب باكستان ومصر الجهود لتقريب مواقف الطرفين، كما أعلن الكرملين من جهته أن روسيا مستعدة لتسلّم اليورانيوم الإيراني المخصّب في إطار أي اتفاق سلام محتمل مع الولايات المتحدة.

Minutes after the ban on Iranian ports came into effect, U.S. President Donald Trump threatened today (Monday) to immediately and brutally eliminate Iranian attack boats just as he has done with drug ships.

Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform: “The Iranian navy lies at the bottom of the sea, completely destroyed — 158 ships,” adding: “If any of these small attack boats approach our blockade, they will be eliminated immediately, using the same kill system we use against drug dealers on boats at sea; it’s fast and brutal.”

Bloomberg noted that the blockade imposed by Trump on Iranian ports could halt remaining flows and threaten economies far beyond the Middle East, and it is also likely to destroy the fragile ceasefire that was agreed upon last week.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif confirmed today the continued diligent efforts to resolve the conflict between the United States and Iran, following a day after talks hosted in Islamabad between the two sides ended without reaching an agreement.

Sharif stated during a cabinet meeting: “The ceasefire is still holding, and at this moment, intensive efforts are being made to resolve the outstanding issues.”

The American site Axios reported that a regional source and a U.S. official said that Ankara will continue, alongside Pakistan and Egypt, efforts to bridge the positions of both sides, while the Kremlin announced that Russia is ready to receive Iranian enriched uranium as part of any potential peace agreement with the United States.
