بعد لقاء ثلاثي مباشر.. إيران تؤكد بدء مفاوضات «المرحلة الفنية» مع أمريكا – أخبار السعودية
دعا الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون اليوم (السبت) إيران إلى اغتنام فرصة المحادثات الجارية في إسلام آباد بينها وبين أمريكا، وذلك خلال اتصال هاتفي مع الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان.
وشدد ماكرون على ضرورة تمهيد الطريق نحو تهدئة مستدامة واتفاق شامل يوفر ضمانات قوية للأمن في المنطقة، بمشاركة جميع البلدان المعنية، مؤكداً أهمية أن تعيد إيران في أسرع وقت ممكن حرية وأمن الملاحة في مضيق هرمز، وهو ما تستعد فرنسا للمساهمة فيه.
الالتزام بوقف إطلاق النار
وشدد ماكرون على ضرورة الالتزام التام بوقف إطلاق النار، بما يشمل لبنان، مؤكداً دعم بلاده الكامل لجهود السلطات اللبنانية، باعتبارها الجهة الشرعية الوحيدة المخولة بممارسة سيادة الدولة وتقرير مستقبل البلاد.
وفي سياق متصل، نقلت شبكة سي إن إن عن مصدر باكستاني قوله إنه من المتوقع أن تستمر المحادثات الأمريكية الإيرانية الليلة، وقد تمتد إلى الأحد، موضحاً أن رئيس الوزراء الباكستاني وقائد الجيش موجودان حالياً في غرفة التفاوض.
لقاء مباشر
فيما ذكر نائب الرئيس الأمريكي جيه دي فانس لصحيفة وول ستريت جورنال أن الوفد برئاسته أجرى محادثات مباشرة مع مسؤولين إيرانيين.
ونقلت وكالة أنباء الطلبة الإيرانية (إيسنا) عن أمين مجلس الإعلام الإيراني محمد كلزاري قوله: «مفاوضات إسلام آباد الثلاثية انعقدت بعد التحقق من وقف الهجمات على بيروت»، موضحاً أن المحادثات الثلاثية الجارية بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران وباكستان في إسلام آباد «دخلت المرحلة الفنية»، مشيراً إلى وجود «جدية في المفاوضات».
فرق فنية للتفاوض
وأشار إلى أن المحادثات الفنية بدأت مع ازدياد جدية أجواء المفاوضات الثلاثية، مبيناً أن أعضاء من اللجان المتخصصة في الوفد الإيراني توجهوا إلى مقر المفاوضات، وهذا المسار لا يزال مستمراً.
وأوضح أنه مع تطور الأوضاع واستمرار الاتصالات مع السفير الإيراني في لبنان للتحقق من وقف الهجمات على بيروت، إلى جانب توجيه تحذيرات جدية بشأن خروقات وقف إطلاق النار، فضلاً عن تهيئة الظروف للإفراج عن الأصول الإيرانية المجمدة، انطلقت في نهاية المطاف المفاوضات الثلاثية.
هل تمدد المفاوضات؟
وكان موقع «برس تي في» الإيراني قد قال إنه لم يُتخذ أي قرار بشأن تمديد المحادثات الجارية بين إيران والولايات المتحدة في إسلام آباد، مشيراً إلى أن المفاوضات لا تزال مستمرة.
ولفت الموقع إلى أن إيران أعلنت أن مسار المحادثات هو الذي سيحدد ما إذا كانت الفرق المفاوضة ستمدد إقامتها في العاصمة الباكستانية.
French President Emmanuel Macron called on Iran today (Saturday) to seize the opportunity of the ongoing talks in Islamabad between it and the United States, during a phone call with Iranian President Masoud Bezhakian.
Macron emphasized the need to pave the way for sustainable de-escalation and a comprehensive agreement that provides strong guarantees for security in the region, with the participation of all concerned countries, affirming the importance of Iran restoring freedom and security of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz as soon as possible, which France is prepared to contribute to.
Commitment to Ceasefire
Macron stressed the necessity of full commitment to the ceasefire, including in Lebanon, affirming his country’s complete support for the efforts of the Lebanese authorities, as the only legitimate body authorized to exercise state sovereignty and determine the future of the country.
In a related context, CNN reported from a Pakistani source that the U.S.-Iran talks are expected to continue tonight and may extend into Sunday, noting that the Pakistani Prime Minister and the Army Chief are currently in the negotiation room.
Direct Meeting
Meanwhile, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance told the Wall Street Journal that the delegation he heads conducted direct talks with Iranian officials.
The Iranian Students’ News Agency (ISNA) quoted the Secretary of the Iranian Media Council, Mohammad Kalzari, as saying: “The trilateral negotiations in Islamabad were held after verifying the cessation of attacks on Beirut,” explaining that the ongoing trilateral talks between the United States, Iran, and Pakistan in Islamabad have “entered the technical phase,” indicating that there is “seriousness in the negotiations.”
Technical Teams for Negotiation
He noted that the technical discussions began as the seriousness of the trilateral negotiations increased, indicating that members of specialized committees from the Iranian delegation headed to the negotiation venue, and this process is still ongoing.
He explained that with the evolution of the situation and the continuation of communications with the Iranian ambassador in Lebanon to verify the cessation of attacks on Beirut, alongside serious warnings regarding ceasefire violations, as well as preparing the conditions for the release of frozen Iranian assets, the trilateral negotiations ultimately commenced.
Will the negotiations be extended?
The Iranian website “Press TV” stated that no decision has been made regarding the extension of the ongoing talks between Iran and the United States in Islamabad, noting that the negotiations are still ongoing.
The site pointed out that Iran announced that the course of the talks will determine whether the negotiating teams will extend their stay in the Pakistani capital.
