«الجميع يدعمني».. مدرب ليفربول يلمح للبقاء رغم الموسم الكارثي – أخبار السعودية
أكد مدرب ليفربول آرني سلوت أنه لا يزال يحظى بثقة ودعم إدارة النادي والجماهير، رغم النتائج السلبية والاقتراب من إنهاء الموسم دون تحقيق أي لقب.
ويحتل ليفربول المركز الخامس في جدول ترتيب الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز برصيد 49 نقطة، إلى جانب توديع كأس الاتحاد الإنجليزي من دور ربع النهائي بعد هزيمة قاسية أمام مانشستر سيتي برباعية نظيفة السبت الماضي، ثم الخسارة أمام باريس سان جيرمان 2-0 في ذهاب ربع نهائي دوري أبطال أوروبا.
ثقة الإدارة والجماهير
وقال سلوت خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي يسبق مواجهة فولهام المقررة غداً (السبت)، في الدوري الإنجليزي: «لقد قلت مرات عديدة إنني أشعر بدعم كبير، ليس فقط من الملاك، ولكن أيضاً من الإدارة الرياضية، وعلى الرغم من غرابة الأمر، إلا أنني أشعر أيضاً بدعم الجماهير».
إشادة بالدعم الجماهيري
وأضاف المدرب الهولندي: «عندما خرج اللاعبون للإحماء قبل مباراة باريس سان جيرمان الماضية، بدأ المشجعون على الفور في غناء «نحن نحبك يا ليفربول»، رغم أننا خسرنا قبلها بأيام أمام مانشستر سيتي 4-0».
وتابع: «بعد الخسارة أمام باريس سان جيرمان وتفوق الخصم علينا طوال 90 دقيقة، ذهبنا إلى مدرجات مشجعي الفريق الضيف، وكانوا لا يزالون يغنون لنا ويصفقون لنا».
النادي يدرك المرحلة
وختم حديثه قائلاً: «لقد شعرت بهذا الدعم، وشعرنا به جميعاً باستمرار، وقد قلت مراراً إن النادي يدرك المرحلة التي نمر بها، وفي الوقت نفسه أحظى بدعمهم الكامل».
Liverpool coach Arne Slot confirmed that he still enjoys the confidence and support of the club’s management and fans, despite the negative results and the risk of finishing the season without any titles.
Liverpool currently sits in fifth place in the Premier League table with 49 points, alongside being eliminated from the FA Cup in the quarter-finals after a heavy defeat against Manchester City with a score of 4-0 last Saturday, followed by a loss to Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.
Confidence of Management and Fans
Slot said during the press conference ahead of the match against Fulham scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday) in the Premier League: “I have said many times that I feel a great deal of support, not only from the owners but also from the sports management, and although it may seem strange, I also feel the support of the fans.”
Praise for Fan Support
The Dutch coach added: “When the players went out to warm up before the last match against Paris Saint-Germain, the fans immediately started singing ‘We love you, Liverpool,’ even though we had lost to Manchester City 4-0 just days before.”
He continued: “After the loss to Paris Saint-Germain, where the opponent dominated us for 90 minutes, we went to the stands of the visiting team’s fans, and they were still singing for us and applauding us.”
The Club Acknowledges the Phase
He concluded his remarks by saying: “I have felt this support, and we have all felt it continuously, and I have repeatedly said that the club is aware of the phase we are going through, and at the same time, I enjoy their full support.”
