فاز فريق هيوستن روكتس على مضيفه فينيكس صنز بنتيجة (119 – 105) في دوري كرة السلة الأمريكي للمحترفين «NBA».

وبدأ أصحاب الأرض اللقاء بصورة مثالية بعدما تقدموا بفارق 21 نقطة في الربع الأول أمام تشكيلة مذهلة من روكتس.

لكن هيوستن استعاد توازنه قبل أن يتفوق على فينيكس (38 – 21) في الربع الأخير، وحسم فوزه وبذلك فقد صنز فرصة التأهل المباشر إلى الأدوار الإقصائية.

واستغل فريق مينيسوتا تمبروولفز خسارة صنز وضمن المركز السادس في المنطقة الغربية برصيد 47 فوزاً مقابل 32 خسارة، بعدما حقق فوزاً مريحاً على مضيفه إنديانا بيسرز المتعثر (124 – 104).

ورفع رابتورز رصيده إلى 44 فوزاً مقابل 35 خسارة، قبل 3 مباريات من نهاية الموسم المنتظم، متقدماً بفارق مباراة واحدة على فيلادلفيا سفنتي سيكسرز صاحب المركز السابع.

واقترب بوسطن سلتيكس من حسم المركز الثاني في المنطقة الشرقية بعدما صمد أمام شارلوت هورنتس المتألق، محققاً فوزاً بنتيجة (113 – 102) على ملعب «تي دي غاردن» في بوسطن.

وفي المنطقة الغربية، واصل لوس أنجلوس ليكرز المتأثر بالإصابات ابتعاده عن المنافسة على المركز الثالث، بعدما تلقى خسارة قاسية بنتيجة (87 – 123) أمام أوكلاهوما سيتي ثاندر على أرضه.

The home team started the game perfectly, taking a 21-point lead in the first quarter against an impressive Rockets lineup.

However, Houston regained its balance before outscoring Phoenix (38 – 21) in the final quarter, securing their victory and thus denying the Suns a direct qualification to the playoffs.

The Minnesota Timberwolves took advantage of the Suns’ loss and secured the sixth spot in the Western Conference with a record of 47 wins and 32 losses, after comfortably defeating the struggling Indiana Pacers (124 – 104).

The Raptors improved their record to 44 wins and 35 losses, with 3 games remaining in the regular season, leading by one game over the seventh-placed Philadelphia 76ers.

The Boston Celtics are close to securing the second spot in the Eastern Conference after holding off the impressive Charlotte Hornets, achieving a victory with a score of (113 – 102) at the TD Garden in Boston.

In the Western Conference, the injury-affected Los Angeles Lakers continued to fall behind in the race for the third spot, suffering a heavy loss of (87 – 123) against the Oklahoma City Thunder at home.
