901 طالب وطالبة يشاركون في أولمبياد نسمو للعلوم والرياضيات بالأحساء – أخبار السعودية
انطلقت المرحلة الثانية من أولمبياد العلوم والرياضيات الوطني «نسمو» الذي يقام بالشراكة بين وزارة التعليم ومؤسسة «موهبة»، بمشاركة (901) طالب وطالبة من المرحلتين المتوسطة والثانوية بمدارس تعليم الأحساء، ضمن برامج نوعية تستهدف رعاية الموهوبين وتعزيز مسارات التميز العلمي وتستمر لمدة خمسة أيام، بما يتماشى مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 في تنمية القدرات البشرية.
وأوضح رئيس قسم الموهوبين في الإدارة العامة للتعليم بمحافظة الأحساء نايف الزمامي، بأن هذه المسابقة تحظى بحرص واهتمام ومتابعة مدير الإدارة العامة للتعليم بالمحافظة طواشي بن يوسف الكناني، واستهدفت في مرحلتها الأولى أكثر من خمسة آلاف طالب وطالبة، فيما تنفذ المرحلة الثانية في هذه المرحلة في ثمانية مراكز تدريبية، يقدمها 34 مدربًا ومدربة، حيث يقدمون محتوى علميا متخصصا يركز على تنمية مهارات التفكير العليا، والتحليل، وحل المشكلات في مجالات العلوم والرياضيات. ويتوزع المشاركون على ثمانية مجالات علمية، تشمل مجالات الأحياء بـ(143) طالبًا وطالبة، والرياضيات (1) بـ(129)، ثم الفيزياء بـ(118)، فيما راوحت بقية المجالات بين (94 – 106) مشاركين، في مؤشر يعكس تنوع الاهتمامات العلمية واتساع قاعدة التميز، مشيراً إلى أنه سيعقد في نهاية البرنامج التدريبي اختبار يتم من خلاله اختيار 400 طالب وطالبة، ينضمون بعدها إلى برنامج تدريبي مكثف، يعقبها اختبار ليتم اختيار 48 طالباً وطالبة ينتقلون إلى العاصمة الرياض استعداداً لتشكيل منتخب سعودي يمثل في 35 مسابقة علمية عالمية، مبيناً بأن هذه المرحلة تعد محطة محورية في مسار الأولمبياد، حيث تركز البرامج التدريبية على تعميق الفهم العلمي، وتنمية مهارات حل المشكلات، وتأهيل الطلبة للمنافسة في المراحل النهائية.
يشار إلى أن أولمبياد «نسمو» أحد المبادرات الوطنية النوعية التي تستهدف صناعة جيل علمي منافس عالميًا، من خلال اكتشاف المواهب وصقلها، بما يسهم في تحقيق مستهدفات التنمية، وتعزيز حضور المملكة في ميادين التنافس المعرفي عالميًا، تحقيقًا لرؤية المملكة 2030.
The second phase of the National Olympiad for Science and Mathematics “Nasmo” has launched, which is held in partnership between the Ministry of Education and the “Mawhiba” Foundation, with the participation of (901) male and female students from the intermediate and secondary stages in schools in Al-Ahsa, as part of specialized programs aimed at nurturing gifted students and enhancing paths of scientific excellence. This phase will last for five days, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in developing human capabilities.
The head of the Gifted Students Department at the General Education Administration in Al-Ahsa, Naif Al-Zamami, explained that this competition is receiving great attention and follow-up from the Director of the General Education Administration in the province, Tawashi bin Yusuf Al-Kanani. In its first phase, it targeted more than five thousand male and female students, while the second phase is being implemented in eight training centers, provided by 34 male and female trainers, who offer specialized scientific content focusing on developing higher-order thinking skills, analysis, and problem-solving in the fields of science and mathematics. The participants are distributed across eight scientific fields, including biology with (143) students, mathematics (1) with (129), and physics with (118), while the remaining fields ranged between (94 – 106) participants, indicating a diversity of scientific interests and a broad base of excellence. He pointed out that at the end of the training program, a test will be held through which 400 male and female students will be selected, who will then join an intensive training program, followed by another test to select 48 students who will move to the capital, Riyadh, in preparation for forming a Saudi team to represent in 35 global scientific competitions. He noted that this phase is a pivotal station in the Olympiad’s path, as the training programs focus on deepening scientific understanding, developing problem-solving skills, and preparing students to compete in the final stages.
It is noteworthy that the “Nasmo” Olympiad is one of the qualitative national initiatives aimed at creating a globally competitive scientific generation by discovering and honing talents, contributing to achieving development goals, and enhancing the Kingdom’s presence in global knowledge competition arenas, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
