«الخلاف مع نفسي شديد» يثير الاستفهامات.. لماذا تعثر مهرجان ورد الطائف للمرة الثانية؟ – أخبار السعودية
تراجعت «جمعية الورد» في الطائف عن وعودها بدعم المزارعين وتنفيذ مهرجان الورد السنوي في المحافظة، بعد أن أعلن الملتقى العالمي للورد والنباتات العطرية عبر حسابه الرسمي في منصة «إكس» تأجيل إطلاق فعالياته المصاحبة بسبب (ما أسمتها) استمرار التقلبات الجوية التي تسبَّبت في انخفاض إنتاج الورد.
وتقرَّر إثر ذلك تأجيل إطلاق الفعاليات المصاحبة للملتقى العالمي في مخالفة تصريحها في بداية المهرجان بإنتاج الورد الغزير الذي يتجاوز 550 مليون وردة.
ويأتي قرار التأجيل للمرة الثانية على التوالي، بعد أن تم في وقت سابق تأجيل الفعاليات التي كان من المزمع إقامتها في حديقة الردف، دون إيضاح الأسباب حينها، الأمر الذي فتح باب التساؤلات حول أسباب التعثر التنظيمي ومدى جاهزية الفعاليات.
وأكد بعض المهتمين بالورود والنباتات العطرية أن تكرار التأجيل وغياب توضيح كافٍ من الجهات المنظمة والجمعية، ينعكس سلبًا على حضور الزوار، خصوصا في ظل مكانة الملتقى كأحد أبرز الفعاليات السياحية في الطائف.
«عكاظ» تواصلت مع رئيس مجلس إدارة جمعية الورد والنباتات العطرية في الطائف عبدالرحمن الشربي للاستفسار عن أسباب التأجيل، فقال: «الخلاف بيني وبين نفسي شديد».. دون توضيح يذكر.
فيما التزمت المتحدثة الرسمية للمهرجان الدكتورة خديجة أبو النجا الصمت دون الرد على تساؤلات الإعلام.
ويبقى السؤال: من المسؤول عن ضياع أحلام المزارعين، ومن تسبب في تعثر افتتاح المهرجان؟.
The “Rose Association” in Taif has backtracked on its promises to support farmers and hold the annual Rose Festival in the governorate, after the Global Forum for Roses and Aromatic Plants announced via its official account on the “X” platform the postponement of its accompanying events due to what it termed the ongoing weather fluctuations that have caused a decline in rose production.
As a result, it was decided to postpone the launch of the accompanying events for the Global Forum, contradicting its earlier statement at the beginning of the festival about abundant rose production exceeding 550 million roses.
This postponement marks the second time in a row, following an earlier delay of events that were supposed to take place in Al-Rudaf Park, without any clarification of the reasons at that time, which raised questions about the reasons for the organizational setbacks and the readiness of the events.
Some enthusiasts of roses and aromatic plants confirmed that the repeated postponements and the lack of sufficient clarification from the organizing bodies and the association negatively impact visitor attendance, especially given the forum’s status as one of the most prominent tourism events in Taif.
“Okaz” contacted the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Rose and Aromatic Plants Association in Taif, Abdulrahman Al-Sharbi, to inquire about the reasons for the postponement, and he said: “The conflict between me and myself is intense”… without further clarification.
Meanwhile, the official spokesperson for the festival, Dr. Khadija Abu Al-Naja, remained silent and did not respond to media inquiries.
The question remains: who is responsible for the lost dreams of the farmers, and who caused the delay in the festival’s opening?
