أعلنت الهيئة العامة للنقل تمديد مهلة تصحيح أوضاع منشآت النقل البري على الطرق العاملة في أنشطة نقل البضائع، ضمن حزمة تحديثات تنظيمية تهدف إلى رفع كفاءة التشغيل وتعزيز مستوى الامتثال في القطاع.

وأوضحت الهيئة أن التمديد يشمل بعض المهَل المحددة لتعديل أوضاع منشآت النقل البري، بما يتيح للمنشآت استكمال إجراءات التصحيح والتوافق مع المتطلبات التنظيمية المعتمدة.

وبيّنت أن التمديد يشمل المهلة الواردة في آلية تعديل أوضاع منشآت النقل البري على الطرق لأنشطة النقل الثقيل والخفيف للبضائع، وذلك حتى 27 أغسطس 2026، بما يمنح المنشآت وقتاً إضافياً لاستكمال الإجراءات اللازمة.

وأضافت الهيئة أن التحديث شمل الحالات المرتبطة بتعديل نوع تسجيل المركبة من نقل خاص إلى نقل عام في أنشطة النقل الثقيل للبضائع، في خطوة تدعم تنظيم النشاط وتعزز كفاءة استخدام الأسطول ضمن الأطر النظامية.

وفيما يتعلق بأنشطة النقل الخفيف، قررت الهيئة تمديد مهلة تعديل أوضاع المنشآت للحصول على بطاقة سائق مهني، بما يتيح مزيداً من الوقت للسائقين لاستكمال الإجراءات واستيفاء الاشتراطات المعتمدة.

وأكدت الهيئة أن هذه التحديثات تأتي ضمن جهودها لتطوير البيئة التنظيمية لقطاع النقل البري، ورفع مستوى السلامة والكفاءة التشغيلية، بما يسهم في تعزيز موثوقية الخدمات وتحقيق التوازن المستدام في قطاع نقل البضائع.

The authority clarified that the extension includes certain specified deadlines for adjusting the status of road transport establishments, allowing them to complete the necessary correction procedures and comply with the approved regulatory requirements.

It indicated that the extension includes the deadline mentioned in the mechanism for adjusting the status of road transport establishments for heavy and light freight transport activities, until August 27, 2026, granting establishments additional time to complete the necessary procedures.

The authority added that the update included cases related to changing the vehicle registration type from private transport to public transport in heavy freight transport activities, in a step that supports the regulation of the activity and enhances the efficiency of fleet usage within the regulatory frameworks.

Regarding light transport activities, the authority decided to extend the deadline for establishments to adjust their status to obtain a professional driver’s card, allowing drivers more time to complete the procedures and meet the approved requirements.

The authority emphasized that these updates are part of its efforts to develop the regulatory environment for the road transport sector, enhance safety and operational efficiency, contributing to improving the reliability of services and achieving sustainable balance in the freight transport sector.
