أكد الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب أن هدف الولايات المتحدة في إيران يتمثل في منعها من امتلاك سلاح نووي، مشدداً على أن هذا الهدف قد تحقق.
وقال إن أي محاولة مستقبلية لامتلاك سلاح نووي ستواجه بضربات ساحقة مماثلة لما يحدث الآن.
انسحاب خلال أسابيع
وأوضح ترمب لـ«إي بي سي نيوز» أن المهمة انتهت لافتا إلى أن القوات الأمريكية ستغادر إيران خلال فترة تتراوح بين أسبوعين إلى ثلاثة أسابيع، مبيناً أن بقاءها لن يستمر إلا إذا دعت الحاجة لذلك.
«تغيير النظام».. واقع جديد
وأشار ترمب إلى أن إيران تشهد «تغييراً كاملاً في النظام»، لافتاً إلى أن واشنطن تتعامل حالياً مع «مجموعة جديدة أكثر عقلانية»، في إشارة إلى تحولات داخلية في طهران.
وفيما يتعلق بالمسار السياسي، قال ترمب إن عودة إيران إلى طاولة المفاوضات «أمر جيد لكنه ليس ضرورياً»، مؤكداً في الوقت ذاته أن واشنطن تجري بالفعل اتصالات مع قيادات إيرانية «أكثر اعتدالاً».
ضبط الطاقة.. أولوية أمريكية
وبيّن الرئيس الأمريكي أن كل ما قامت به بلاده يهدف إلى الحد من ارتفاع أسعار الطاقة، معتبراً أن مغادرة إيران ستسهم في تحقيق هذا الهدف قريباً.
إيران «إلى الخلف» لسنوات
وفي تقييمه لنتائج العمليات، قال ترمب إن الضربات الأمريكية أعادت إيران «30 عاماً إلى الوراء»، مشيراً إلى أن طهران ستحتاج ما بين 15 إلى 20 عاماً لإعادة بناء ما دُمّر.

Trump explained to “ABC News” that the mission is over, noting that U.S. forces will leave Iran within a period of two to three weeks, indicating that their presence will only continue if necessary.
“Regime Change”.. A New Reality
Trump pointed out that Iran is experiencing a “complete regime change,” noting that Washington is currently dealing with a “more rational new group,” referring to internal shifts in Tehran.
Regarding the political path, Trump said that Iran’s return to the negotiating table is “a good thing but not necessary,” while also confirming that Washington is indeed in contact with “more moderate” Iranian leaders.
Energy Regulation.. An American Priority
The U.S. President indicated that everything his country has done aims to curb rising energy prices, considering that leaving Iran will contribute to achieving this goal soon.
Iran “Backwards” for Years
In his assessment of the results of the operations, Trump stated that U.S. strikes have set Iran “30 years back,” noting that Tehran will need between 15 to 20 years to rebuild what has been destroyed.
