فرضت كندا عقوبات إضافية على 5 أشخاص و4 شركات إيرانية مرتبطة بالحرس الثوري الإيراني.

وأوضحت وزارة الخارجية الكندية في بيان أن الأشخاص الخمسة والكيانات الأربعة المستهدفين بالعقوبات متّهمون بدعم مليشيات غير حكومية وجماعات إرهابية متحالفة مع طهران، وبتزويدها بأسلحة وتقنيات تسهم في زعزعة استقرار الشرق الأوسط.

وأضاف البيان: «ستفرض كندا عقوبات أيضاً على من يسهم في نشاطات إيران المزعزعة للاستقرار»، مشيراً إلى أن كندا تفرض الآن عقوبات على 227 فرداً و260 كياناً إيرانياً.

Canada has imposed additional sanctions on 5 individuals and 4 Iranian companies linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

The Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement that the five individuals and four entities targeted by the sanctions are accused of supporting non-governmental militias and terrorist groups allied with Tehran, and of providing them with weapons and technologies that contribute to destabilizing the Middle East.

The statement added: “Canada will also impose sanctions on those who contribute to Iran’s destabilizing activities,” noting that Canada is now imposing sanctions on 227 individuals and 260 Iranian entities.
