وجه رئيس نادي أبها سعد الأحمري عبر حسابه في «X» رسالة لجماهير فريقه قال فيها: «عشاق الكيان الأبهاوي والمحبون للنادي في أي مكان، نحترم القرارات الصادرة أيًا كانت، ونؤمن أنها نتاج بحث ونقاش ومداولات، وتقبل بذات الوقت السؤال والاستفسار والطعن وملاحقة الحق، وسنظل أقوياء ولأبها أوفياء».

جاء ذلك بعدما أصدرت لجنة الاستئناف في الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم قرارها بشأن الاستئناف المقدم من نادي الفيصلي ضد قرار لجنة الانضباط والأخلاق المتعلق باحتجاجه على عدم نظامية مشاركة لاعب أبها جاي دامبيلي في المباراة التي جمعت الفريقين بتاريخ 21 يناير 2026 ضمن منافسات دوري يلو للدرجة الأولى للمحترفين، إذ قررت قبول الاستئناف شكلاً وموضوعاً، وإلغاء قرار لجنة الانضباط والأخلاق الصادر في 29 يناير 2026، بعد الاطلاع على الأدلة والمستندات التي قدمها نادي الفيصلي، إضافة إلى ردود الأطراف واستفسارات لجنة الاحتراف وأوضاع اللاعبين، فيما أثبتت لجنة الاستئناف مخالفة نادي أبها للائحة الانضباط والأخلاق بسبب عدم أهلية مشاركة اللاعب جاي دامبيلي في المباراة، لتقرر إلغاء نتيجة اللقاء واعتبار نادي أبها خاسراً بنتيجة (3-0) لصالح نادي الفيصلي.

ردود جماهير أبها

توالت ردود عدد من جماهير ومحبي نادي أبها بعد صدور القرار، وقال لاعب النادي السابق محمد أبو عراد: الأفضل التركيز على اللقاءات القادمة دون النظر لما فات، والصعود قريب بشرط عدم التفريط، والفريق قادر فنياً على الصعود وتحقيق المركز الأول. فيما قال مدير المركز الإعلامي في النادي سابقاً الدكتور عيسى الربعي: فعلاً هكذا هم الكبار، رقيّ في الامتثال وشجاعة في الملاحقة بالحق، والمواقف هي اللي تصقل الكيانات، ووفاء المحبين هو القوة التي لا تُهزم. بينما قال الإعلامي علي بن دعرم: ما ذكره رئيس نادي أبها في مستوى المسؤولية، وينم عن وعي واحترام للقرارات مهما كان الضرر، ويوضح أن حق «زعيم الجنوب» لن يضيع، ولكن عبر القنوات الرسمية، والطرق القانونية، وليس عبر «السوشال ميديا» والقنوات الفضائية.

الفيصلي في «X»: «عيدكم مبارك»

نشر حساب نادي الفيصلي في منصة «X» بعد صدور قرار اللجنة: «+3.. مع البيان.. وبالعين المجردة، عيدكم مبارك مقدماً»، رداً على تغريدة نادي أبها التي قال فيها: «نهاية المباراة بدون بيان +3».

يُذكر أن القرار تضمن كذلك إلزام نادي أبها بدفع غرامة مالية قدرها 37,500 ريال لحساب الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم، إضافة إلى إيقاف مدير فريق أبها عبدالله آل مضواح لمدة شهرين في جميع المباريات الرسمية التي يحق له المشاركة فيها، بينما أقرت اللجنة إعادة رسوم الاحتجاج والاستئناف التي دفعها نادي الفيصلي، مع الإشارة إلى أن القرار قابل للطعن وفق النظام الأساسي للاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم.

The President of Abha Club, Saad Al-Ahmari, sent a message to the fans of his team via his account on “X,” stating: “Lovers of the Abha entity and fans of the club everywhere, we respect the decisions made, whatever they may be, and we believe they are the result of research, discussion, and deliberation. At the same time, we accept questions, inquiries, challenges, and the pursuit of justice, and we will remain strong and loyal to Abha.”

This came after the Appeals Committee of the Saudi Football Federation issued its decision regarding the appeal submitted by Al-Faisaly Club against the decision of the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee concerning its protest about the illegitimacy of Abha player Jay Dambili’s participation in the match between the two teams on January 21, 2026, as part of the Yelo League for the first division of professionals. The committee decided to accept the appeal in form and substance, and to cancel the decision of the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee issued on January 29, 2026, after reviewing the evidence and documents submitted by Al-Faisaly Club, in addition to the responses from the parties and inquiries from the Professionalism and Player Status Committee. The Appeals Committee confirmed that Abha Club violated the Disciplinary and Ethics Regulations due to the ineligibility of player Jay Dambili to participate in the match, deciding to annul the match result and consider Abha Club to have lost with a score of (3-0) in favor of Al-Faisaly Club.

Responses from Abha Fans

A number of fans and supporters of Abha Club responded after the decision was issued. Former club player Mohammed Abu Arad said: “It is best to focus on the upcoming matches without looking back at what has passed; promotion is near as long as we do not squander opportunities, and the team is technically capable of promotion and achieving first place.” Meanwhile, the former media center director of the club, Dr. Issa Al-Rubai, stated: “Indeed, this is how the great ones are; they show dignity in compliance and courage in pursuing justice. Situations are what shape entities, and the loyalty of fans is the strength that cannot be defeated.” Journalist Ali bin Daram said: “What the President of Abha Club mentioned reflects a sense of responsibility and shows awareness and respect for decisions, no matter the harm. It clarifies that the right of the ‘Leader of the South’ will not be lost, but through official channels and legal means, not through ‘social media’ and satellite channels.”

Al-Faisaly on “X”: “Eid Mubarak to You”

The Al-Faisaly Club account on the “X” platform published after the committee’s decision: “+3.. with the statement.. and with the naked eye, Eid Mubarak in advance,” in response to Abha Club’s tweet which stated: “The end of the match without a statement +3.”

It is worth noting that the decision also included obligating Abha Club to pay a financial fine of 37,500 riyals to the account of the Saudi Football Federation, in addition to suspending Abha team manager Abdullah Al-Mudhwa for two months in all official matches in which he is eligible to participate. The committee also approved the refund of the protest and appeal fees paid by Al-Faisaly Club, noting that the decision is subject to appeal according to the basic regulations of the Saudi Football Federation.
