أعلن الجيش الإسرائيلي، اليوم (السبت)، أنه قتل قيادياً بارزاً في حزب الله اللبناني وفيلق فلسطين، الذي ينضوي تحت لواء فيلق «القدس» التابع للحرس الثوري الإيراني.

وقال الجيش الإسرائيلي، في بيان: «تم القضاء على القيادي هشام عبدالكريم ياسين»، واصفاً ياسين بأنه رئيس وحدة الاتصالات في حزب الله، المسؤول السابق عن تطوير وصيانة نظم الاتصالات التي تستخدمها الجماعة.

واتهم الجيش الإسرائيلي القيادي بأنه كان يتولى مهمة تقوية الجماعة اللبنانية وإعادة أنظمتها للعمل، وأنه كان يعمل بتوجيه من إيران.

وكان الجيش الإسرائيلي قد أصدر إنذاراً عاجلاً إلى سكان الضاحية الجنوبية لبيروت بالمغادرة، خصوصاً الموجودين في أحياء حارة حريك، والغبيري، والليلكي، والحدث، وبرج البراجنة، وتحويطات الغدير، والشياح.

وحذر الجيش الإسرائيلي، على لسان متحدثه أفخاي أدرعي، حزب الله من نقل الصواريخ بشاحنات مدنية، مؤكداً أن ذلك يعرّض سكان لبنان في مدن وقرى الساحل اللبناني للخطر.

وأشار إلى أن معلومات استخباراتية وصلت إليهم تشير إلى أن حزب الله يعمل على تمويه وسائل قتالية داخل شاحنات مدنية، مبيناً أن الشاحنات داخل بلدات الساحل بهدف الاندماج والتموضع بين السكان في المنطقة.

بدورها، أعلنت وزارة الصحة اللبنانية ارتفاع عدد ضحايا الهجمات الإسرائيلية على البلاد إلى 773 قتيلاً و1933 مصاباً، مؤكدة ارتفاع عدد قتلى الهجمات الإسرائيلية بين المسعفين إلى 26 مسعفاً، وإصابة 51 آخرين، منذ 2 مارس.

جاء ذلك في الوقت الذي ذكر مسؤول إسرائيلي أنه من المتوقع إجراء محادثات مباشرة مع لبنان خلال أيام.

وكانت قوة الأمم المتحدة المؤقتة في لبنان (اليونيفيل) قد أعلنت في وقت سابق اليوم، إصابة أحد أفرادها عندما تعرض أحد مواقعها بالقرب من ميس الجبل بجنوب لبنان لإطلاق نار الليلة الماضية.

وأوضحت المتحدثة باسم اليونيفيل كانديس أرديل أن الواقعة تسببت في اندلاع حريق، مطالبة جميع الأطراف بالقيام بواجباتها لضمان أمن وسلامة جنود قوة حفظ السلام.

The Israeli army announced today (Saturday) that it killed a prominent leader in the Lebanese Hezbollah and the Palestinian Brigade, which falls under the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

The Israeli army stated in a statement: “The leader Hisham Abdul Karim Yassin has been eliminated,” describing Yassin as the head of the communications unit in Hezbollah, who was previously responsible for developing and maintaining the communication systems used by the group.

The Israeli army accused the leader of being tasked with strengthening the Lebanese group and restoring its systems to operation, stating that he was working under the direction of Iran.

The Israeli army had issued an urgent warning to residents of the southern suburbs of Beirut to leave, particularly those in the neighborhoods of Haret Hreik, Ghobeiry, Lilaki, Hadath, Burj al-Barajneh, Ghadir, and Shiyah.

The Israeli army, through its spokesperson Avichai Adraee, warned Hezbollah against transporting missiles in civilian trucks, emphasizing that this endangers the residents of Lebanon in the cities and villages along the Lebanese coast.

It noted that intelligence information had reached them indicating that Hezbollah is working to camouflage combat equipment inside civilian trucks, explaining that the trucks are within coastal towns to blend in and position themselves among the residents in the area.

For its part, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the number of casualties from the Israeli attacks on the country has risen to 773 dead and 1,933 injured, confirming that the number of fatalities among paramedics from the Israeli attacks has reached 26, with 51 others injured, since March 2.

This comes at a time when an Israeli official mentioned that direct talks with Lebanon are expected to take place in the coming days.

The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) had earlier announced that one of its personnel was injured when one of its positions near Mais al-Jabal in southern Lebanon was fired upon last night.

UNIFIL spokesperson Candice Ardiel clarified that the incident caused a fire, calling on all parties to fulfill their responsibilities to ensure the safety and security of peacekeeping soldiers.
