أخبار لايت: وسط أزمة غذائية حادة.. عودة 1.3 مليون نازح إلى الخرطوم – أخبار السعودية

في أكبر موجة عودة منذ اندلاع الحرب في السودان، سجلت ولاية الخرطوم عودة أكثر من مليون و300 ألف نازح، بحسب تقرير للأمم المتحدة. وحذرت المنظمة الدولية من استمرار أزمة النزوح دون موارد كافية وجهود سلام متجددة.

ووجه والي الخرطوم أحمد عثمان حمزة بتكثيف الجهود لاستقرار الخدمات خلال شهر رمضان، وأعلنت وزارة الصحة تسليم سلة رمضان للعاملين وسط استمرار معاناة ملايين السودانيين من أزمة غذائية حادة.

وكان الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة أنطونيو غوتيريش دعا إلى تكثيف الضغوط من أجل وقف فوري لإطلاق النار في السودان. وشدد على هامش قمة الاتحاد الأفريقي في إثيوبيا، على ضرورة العمل على تهيئة الظروف للضغط على طرفي النزاع. وأكد التزام منظمته التام بتكثيف الضغط من أجل وقف فوري لإطلاق النار في السودان، بالتعاون مع الجهات الفاعلة الرئيسية.

وقال: «انخرطنا بفعالية كبيرة مع الاتحاد الأفريقي، ومع جامعة الدول العربية، والرباعية، وغيرها من الجهات الفاعلة الرئيسية لممارسة ضغط فعال لوقف فوري لإطلاق النار». وأضاف: «شهدنا مجزرة في السودان لا يمكن التسامح معها في القرن الحادي والعشرين».

ولفت إلى أن أجزاء كثيرة من القارة تواجه أزمات عميقة ومعقدة، بما في ذلك السودان، مؤكداً أن هذه الصراعات لها جهات فاعلة متعددة، ومصالح متعددة، وطبقات متعددة.

ودعا غوتيريش إلى دعم عالمي أكبر لجهود أفريقيا لضمان السلام والأمن القاريين، مشيراً إلى أن «بعض هذه الجهود منهكة للغاية، وبعضها يفتقر إلى الموارد الكافية، ولكن لا يمكن لأي منها أن يعمل بناءً على الإرادة السياسية وحدها».

In the largest wave of return since the outbreak of war in Sudan, the state of Khartoum recorded the return of more than 1.3 million displaced persons, according to a report by the United Nations. The international organization warned that the displacement crisis continues without sufficient resources and renewed peace efforts.

Khartoum Governor Ahmed Osman Hamza directed to intensify efforts to stabilize services during the month of Ramadan, and the Ministry of Health announced the delivery of Ramadan baskets to workers amidst the ongoing suffering of millions of Sudanese from a severe food crisis.

The United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called for intensified pressure for an immediate ceasefire in Sudan. He emphasized, on the sidelines of the African Union summit in Ethiopia, the necessity of working to create conditions to pressure both parties in the conflict. He reaffirmed his organization’s full commitment to intensifying pressure for an immediate ceasefire in Sudan, in cooperation with key stakeholders.

He said: “We have engaged very actively with the African Union, the Arab League, the Quartet, and other key actors to exert effective pressure for an immediate ceasefire.” He added: “We have witnessed a massacre in Sudan that is intolerable in the 21st century.”

He pointed out that many parts of the continent are facing deep and complex crises, including Sudan, stressing that these conflicts have multiple actors, diverse interests, and various layers.

Guterres called for greater global support for Africa’s efforts to ensure continental peace and security, noting that “some of these efforts are extremely exhausted, and some lack sufficient resources, but none can operate based solely on political will.”
