حذّر رئيس لجنة الاستثمار الرياضي والفعاليات بمجلس الأعمال السعودي الإسباني، عبدالهادي الحبابي، من خطورة التعامل مع ملف كريستيانو رونالدو ونادي النصر بمنطق الصمت أو البيانات العامة، مؤكداً أن القضية تجاوزت إطار لاعب ونادٍ، وأصبحت اختباراً حقيقياً لمصداقية إدارة الدوري وصورته الاستثمارية عالمياً.

وقال لـ«عكاظ» إن قدوم كريستيانو رونالدو إلى النصر حمل معه مشروعاً رياضياً متكاملاً غيّر معادلة الدوري، ورفع قيمته السوقية، وجذب لاعبين واستثمارات دولية، وأسهم في تسويق المملكة سياحياً ورياضياً في كل ظهور، حتى أصبح يعلن انتماءه للسعودية في أكثر من مناسبة أمام الإعلام العالمي. وأضاف أن قرار التجديد جاء بناءً على تعهدات واضحة بتشكيل فريق قادر على المنافسة ومنحه صلاحيات إدارية كاملة، وهو ما انعكس ميدانياً بصدارة النصر وتحقيق سلسلة انتصارات قياسية غير مسبوقة في تاريخ الدوري.

وأشار الحبابي إلى أن المشهد تغيّر بعد ذلك بسحب الصلاحيات وتوقف التعزيزات في الفترة الشتوية خلافاً للالتزامات المعلنة، في وقت حصل فريق منافس على دعم استثنائي بعدد تعاقدات غير مسبوقة، ما أخلّ بتكافؤ الفرص وأثار تساؤلات مشروعة داخل وخارج المملكة. وأكد أن موقف رونالدو جاء اعتراضاً مؤسسياً على الإخلال بالوعود واختلال ميزان الدعم، دون أي ظهور إعلامي أو تصريحات، بينما تصدر الحدث عناوين الإعلام الدولي وفتح باب التأويل حول طريقة إدارة الدوري.

وطالب الحبابي بتشكيل لجنة تحقيق مستقلة وشفافة، وإصدار تقرير تفصيلي يوضح أرقام الدعم لجميع الأندية دون استثناء، وتحميل المسؤولية كاملة لمن تسبب في هذا الخلل، أو محاسبة كريستيانو رونالدو في حال ثبوت تجاوزه، حفاظاً على سمعة الدوري، وحماية لثقة المستثمرين، وتأكيداً على أن الاحترافية تُقاس بالأرقام والحوكمة قبل الشعارات.

The Chairman of the Sports Investment and Events Committee at the Saudi-Spanish Business Council, Abdulhadi Al-Habbabi, warned of the dangers of handling the Cristiano Ronaldo and Al-Nassr file with silence or general statements, emphasizing that the issue has transcended the realm of a player and a club, and has become a real test of the credibility of the league’s management and its global investment image.

He told “Okaz” that Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival at Al-Nassr brought with it a comprehensive sports project that changed the dynamics of the league, increased its market value, attracted players and international investments, and contributed to marketing the Kingdom both touristically and athletically with every appearance, to the point where he publicly declared his affiliation with Saudi Arabia on several occasions in front of the global media. He added that the decision to renew was based on clear commitments to form a competitive team and grant him full administrative powers, which was reflected in the field with Al-Nassr leading the league and achieving an unprecedented series of record victories in the league’s history.

Al-Habbabi pointed out that the scene changed thereafter with the withdrawal of powers and the halt of reinforcements during the winter period, contrary to the announced commitments, while a rival team received exceptional support through unprecedented contracts, which disrupted the balance of opportunities and raised legitimate questions both inside and outside the Kingdom. He confirmed that Ronaldo’s stance was an institutional objection to the breach of promises and the imbalance of support, without any media appearance or statements, while the event dominated international media headlines and opened the door for interpretations regarding the management of the league.

Al-Habbabi called for the formation of an independent and transparent investigation committee, and the issuance of a detailed report clarifying the support figures for all clubs without exception, holding accountable those responsible for this imbalance, or holding Cristiano Ronaldo accountable if proven to have exceeded, in order to preserve the reputation of the league, protect investor confidence, and affirm that professionalism is measured by numbers and governance before slogans.
